The Innovations Learning School

In Innovations, students develop their skills through working with a range of materials and media.  We like to think of Innovations as the learning school where students can put into practice their core skills in a stimulating and real-life context and where they not only use their academic skills but also learn valuable skills for life and employment.  It is where they can explore problem solving, be creative and become truly innovative.

In Year 7, students study Food, Product Design, Art, and ICT. We actively encourage students to be ‘risk takers’,  to manage their own learning, engage with technology and strive for deep understanding whilst ensuring we are there to support them where needed.  In doing this we believe we will create resilient, responsible, well skilled, well qualified and independent learners, fit for the demands of the 21st Century.

“ It is our mission to be a centre for teaching and learning excellence, where every student has the opportunity to explore and develop their creativity and innovative thinking in a supportive and challenging environment. “
