Adam celebrates Cross Country success

Talented athlete, Adam Saul-Braddock, enjoyed runaway success in the West Midlands Cross Country Championships - and is now preparing the set the pace among the best in the country.

Adam represented Wolverhampton Schools in the West Midlands Intermediate Boys Cross Country Championships and took first place.

The Year 10 student ran 4.8km in 16.42 minutes, beating several older students in the process, crossing the line over 40m ahead of the next competitor.

He has now qualified to run in the English Schools’ Athletic Association’s Cross Country Championships, which will be held at Norfolk County Showground, in Norwich, on March 18.

It is the third time Adam has represented the school - and the West Midlands - in the national competition.
