Talented table tennis players from Highfields have been putting the opposition in a spin with a series of successes in the sport.
Highfields' U16s Boys team (pictured left) took the top spot in the Wolverhampton Table Tennis Championships and are now preparing to represent Wolverhampton borough at the Black Country School Games on January 28.
Talented table tennis players from Highfields also qualified for the Borough Table Tennis Finals, which were held at Woodfield Table Tennis Club.
Highfields A team narrowly missed out on 1st place to finish 2nd and Highfields B team finished in 5th place.
PE teacher, Mr M Spencer, said: "It is great to see our table tennis players achieving so much competitively.
"To finish as the 2nd and 5th best teams in Wolverhampton is a great achievement for our pupils who have worked hard on their table tennis since September and we are now looking forward to our U16 Boys team representing the borough in the Black Country School Games."
