The Communications Curriculum
The Communications Learning School offers students the opportunities to study a range of Languages: English, French and Spanish. It develops reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. We also nurture creativity and the imagination - especially through Drama.
English prepares students to communicate effectively, which supports learning across the curriculum and for the world beyond the classroom.
Modern Foreign Languages offers exciting opportunities to learn to speak and write in two key European languages: French and Spanish.
Drama promotes both an individual and collaborative
approach to learning, instilling self-belief and confidence.
Film Studies enables students to engage with digital
technology and the world of cinema.
Combined, these subjects are key to preparing students with the communication skills so vital for success in school and beyond the world of education.
All students are given opportunities to fulfil their potential. In a growing global community the Communication Learning School will equip students with the skills to make sense of and flourish in the shifting demands of the 21st century. We believe students will gain both the academic and practical skills required in the world of work and also inspire them to broaden their horizons.
